Kirk Buchanan is an

With a love for the great outdoors, he enjoys mountain hiking, trail running, river rafting, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, and painting en plein air.
He is an author, oil painter, and lifetime student of chess. He rarely refuses a great cup of coffee.
Working primarily with oils on canvas with bold color, Kirk paints the enchanting landscapes of New Mexico and the great American southwest in the post-impressionism style.
